trauma therapy

“Is it trauma?”
It’s a question many people bring to therapy — and often, the answer isn’t simple.
You don’t need a label to seek support. What matters is how life feels right now — whether you’re carrying too much, feeling disconnected, or just know something inside isn’t sitting right.

how it works
Starting therapy can be the hardest bit. I aim to make it as hassle free as possible for you:
register your interest
Fill out a short form to share a bit about yourself, your availability, and what you’re hoping for in therapy.

This helps me see if we’re a good fit before we take the next step.

All your information remains fully confidential.

No obligation to take it further at this point.
wait 48 hours for confirmation
I’ll read your form carefully and get back to you within 48 hours.
I check for any conflict of interest, review your expectations, and ensure I can support you.

If I’m not the best fit, I’ll always do my best to point you toward someone more suitable.

I will email you at the email address you provided on your form.
choose how to start
You decide how you would like to begin. It could be:

-
A brief phone call to ask practical questions

-
A 30-minute online or in-person introductory session to get a feel for how I work.

After that, we will match up the diaries and you are free to start and see how it feels.
testimonials

Sarah, 42, Birmingham
Suzanne was fantastic support during one of the lowest points of my life.
Through exploring my past with care and insight, she helped me gain a deeper understanding of myself and the path that lead me here.

Hannah, 28, London
Suzanne is a warm person and a great counsellor. She creates an environment that makes you feel safe and secure enough to share, listens but questions in a way that initiates critical thinking and reflection.
I look forward to every session with Suzie and she would be my first call when I revisit counselling again.
These kind words are from real clients, but we’ve changed names and used stock photos to protect their privacy

James, 32, Essex
The self-awareness that Suzanne helped me find has enabled me to nagivate present challenges with greater clarity and resilliance.

As a result I feel more grounded, happier and more secure in who I am.
