OASIS THERAPY
counselling & psychotherapy

east sussex & online
Ready to make sense of what’s happening beneath the surface? Expect tears, laughter, and everything in between.
Thoughtful, trauma-informed therapy grounded in advanced clinical training and genuine human connection. Helping you make sense of your patterns, navigate complexity, and move towards lasting change, however that looks for you.
HOW it works at Oasis Therapy
I’m a psychotherapeutic counsellor working with people who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or caught in patterns that don’t seem to shift, even when they’ve tried to “figure it out” on their own.
If you need a place to vent, grieve or work through stress, I am here. If you want to understand yourself and others more fully, I can help.
Expect therapy to feel real, human and non-clinical. Sessions with me are thoughtful, collaborative, and sometimes gently challenging, depending on what you need.

types of therapy

ONLINE therapy
Whether you’re at home, on a break, or living somewhere more remote, online therapy offers a way to access support wherever you are.
All you need is a private space and a stable internet or phone connection.
Sessions take place via Google Meet or by phone, and the therapeutic work is the same — relational, thoughtful, and consistent in depth.
It’s therapy that meets you where you are, without losing the quality of in-person work.

In-person therapy
Sessions take place in my therapy suite at Bird-in-Eye Farm, Uckfield.
The space is private, quiet, and set within a peaceful rural setting, offering a sense of distance from everyday demands.
It provides a calm, grounded environment for reflection and deeper therapeutic work. You’ll be met with warmth and professionalism in a setting that allows you to slow down and think more clearly.
Free parking is available directly outside, with private facilities on site.
trauma
“Is it trauma?”
A question many people bring to therapy — and it doesn’t always have a straightforward answer.
You don’t need a label to seek support. What matters is how things are affecting you now — whether you feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or like something from the past still has a hold in the present.
Therapy offers a way to gently understand and work with these experiences, at a pace that feels manageable.

WHY OASIS THERAPY?
Neurodiversityaffirming
I work in a neurodiversity-affirming way, with attention to difference, experience, and the impact of being understood (or misunderstood) over time.
This includes how these experiences show up in relationships, emotions, and daily life.

Depth work
I work with counselling and psychotherapy, allowing us to explore patterns, relationships, and what’s happening beneath the surface.
This helps us work with experiences in a more meaningful and lasting way.

farm side therapy
privately owned therapy suite at Bird-in-Eye Farm, offering a quiet, spacious and private setting for therapy.
Soft lighting, cold drinks, tea, and full facilities are available, along with free parking on site. It’s peaceful and close to Uckfield, yet feels tucked away from everyday demands.

Starting gently
You can choose how you’d like to begin — either a phone consultation and then start therapy, or a 30-minute in-person introductory meeting at my therapy suite to meet and see how it feels first.
here’s no pressure to decide quickly — it’s about finding what feels right for you.

GETTING STARTED
Starting therapy can be the hardest bit. I aim to make it as hassle free as possible for you:
register your interest
Click on the "start here" button below to share a bit about yourself, your availability, and what you’re hoping for in therapy.
This helps me see if we’re a good fit before we take the next step.
All your information remains fully confidential.
No obligation to take it further at this point.
wait 48 hours for confirmation
I’ll read your form carefully and get back to you within 24-48 hours.
I check for any conflict of interest, review your expectations, and ensure I can support you.
If I’m not the best fit, I’ll always do my best to point you toward someone more suitable.
choose how to start
You decide how you would like to begin. It could be:
-
A brief phone call to ask practical questions
-
A 30-minute online or in-person introductory session to get a feel for how I work.
After that, we will match up the diaries and you are free to start and see how it feels.
